WINTER FIXTURES 2011 /12

 

During the winter, MADJA takes part in the Oxford Mail XC League.  Each season this league organises cross country races at five venues, with a fixture on the first Sunday of each month from November to March.  For 2011-12 the fixtures are as follows.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

In addition there is a range of self-entry events listed below in which you can represent the club and wear your MADJA vest:

 

• The first in the UKA Cross Challenge series takes place in Bristol, Sunday 13 November.
• The Tri-Counties XC Championship takes place in Bath on Sunday 11 December. This race will be used to select athletes for the South West Inter Counties XC Champs which will be held at Bicton College Devon on Sunday 8 January and also the National Inter Counties at Birmingham on Saturday 10th March.

SUMMER FIXTURES 2011

The summer season is focused on track and field. Children develop as athletes as they move through the age groups and our tailored sessions offer age appropriate skills and endurance training. Opportunities to compete begin with QuadKids and then expand into a full range of track and field events at county, regional and national level.

OTHER EVENTS

In addition, throughout the year we will advertise other events that take place. Usually these will be regional or local and may require pre-registration. These events will usually be listed with relevant web sites addresses for you to access more information.
