HOW TO FIND MADJA

 

MADJA uses the athletics track and fields at Marlborough College. The track is situated behind the College and Preshute Church. We ask all members and visitors to park in the Marlborough College Memorial Hall car park as there is no parking at the track or the church. The entrance to the car park is off the A4 just to the west of the town.

When you have parked, continue to walk away from the A4 towards the River Kennet. Cross the stone footbridge (Fox’s Bridge) and turn right towards the tennis courts. Turn left between the tall gates and the track is at the top of the short rise. Coaches and officials will be on hand in the clubhouse to welcome you and answer any questions.

 

Travelling from the East

Proceed on the A4 through the town of Marlborough and out of the town towards Bath. Pass under the small Marlborough College bridge and over a pedestrian crossing, then after 200 m turn left into the Memorial Hall car park just before the next pedestrian crossing. The Memorial Hall is the brick building fronted by a white colonnade. Continue straight and park straight ahead at the end of the road. Take the path straight ahead over the stone bridge which will take you to the athletic track and tennis courts.

 

Travelling from the West

Approach Marlborough on the A4 and pass Manton and Barton Park. As you approach Marlborough and can see the College ahead there is a football pitch on the right and a pedestrian crossing. Turn right immediately after the crossing in the Memorial Hall car park. The Memorial Hall is the brick building fronted by a white colonnade. Continue straight and park straight ahead at the end of the road. Take the path straight ahead over the stone bridge which will take you to the athletic track and tennis courts.
