Prize-giving celebrates club’s stars.
Another Marlborough & District Junior Athletics summer season was rounded off with a successful prize giving evening last Friday. For the second year, the club’s family barbecue event, held at the Marlborough Rugby Club, was well supported by young athletes and their families and club Patron David Hemery CBE was there to present the trophies to the age group champions and, for all-round achievement as recognised by the coaching team. This year for the first time in many years...

MADJA Athletes help Wiltshire team to victory in SW Inter-Counties.
Congratulations to the MADJA athletes who represented Wiltshire at the England Athletics SW Inter-counties championships at Exeter last Sunday. In the sweltering heat, our athletes — Kieran Short (U20), Greg Rogan-Rea (U20), Catriona Edington (U20), Jacob Kelly (U17), Edie Noble (U15), Ellie Mullins (U13) and Amber Dickin (U13) put in some exceptional performances to win medals.....

Feeling Hot Hot Hot.... MADJA athletes in a searing Swindon Wessex League.
The temperatures searing, but the performances on the track were equally hot as MADJA hosted the Wessex League at Swindon last Sunday.
Certainly under-13 Amber Dickin turned in three scorching performances to make a clear sweep of her events. She began by setting a new PB in the 200m with 28.2 seconds — a AAA Grade 1 performance*. She then topped it off with another Grade 1 performance in the Long Jump with 4.59m. This leap was enough to boost Amber to No 27 in the country in her age group at the Monday morning. Finally, Amber rounded off the day with 1st in the 100m with a 3rd PB of 14.00 seconds.....
